Also where can i download the latest drivers for the RZ600 Series Wi-Fi 6E modules, because right now there are no driver downloads to be found anywhere when i search for the new products, nothing on AMDs or MediaTeks pages.

Im totaly aware that AMD offers driver for their X570 chips but like u said the RZ600 is a wifi/bluetooth modul and that a totally different story since there are no drivers for this on AMDs or MediaTeks pages.

SHANGHAI, May 22, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- USI (SSE: 601231), a leading global company in electronic design and manufacturing, today announces the launch of two highly integrated and miniaturized modules - the MS-03 PRO SOM (System on Module) and the SMN-01A communication module. The MS-03 PRO SOM consists of a Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 (SDM450) SoC built into the module, while the SMN-01A communication module is equipped with MediaTek's MT2625 NB-IoT SoC. The launch of these two modules will enable USI's customers to accelerate designs for a wide array of IoT applications such as WWAN (Wireless Wide Area Network) and NB-IoT (Narrowband-Internet of Things).


MS-03 PRO's predecessor - the MS-01 PRO WWAN SOM, has the Qualcomm Snapdragon SDM660 chip incorporated into the module. The module had successfully obtained various industry certifications and had been adopted by many customers in Europe, America and Taiwan for IIoT (Industrial IoT) applications. The newly released USI MS-03 PRO, now featuring Qualcomm's Snapdragon SDM450 processor, is designed for devices running on the Android operating system and supports the integration of most functions on mobile devices such as mobile POS (Point of Sale), rugged handheld computers and tablets.


In parallel, after many years of collaboration between USI and MediaTek, the company has officially launched a communication module using MediaTek's NB-IoT chip. USI's SMN-01A communication module incorporates the MediaTek's MT2625 NB-IoT SoC, and is designed for low bandwidth, low power, long range and massive IoT applications that support NB-IoT communication standards. Compatible with multiple network and low power protocols, the SMN-01A module enables a variety of IoT and M2M (Machine to Machine) applications such as smart parking, smart metering and asset tracking.

The Chinese wireless IoT provider developed the 5G module based on the recently-launched MediaTek T830 platform. Fibocom has been focusing on the development of wireless connectivity technology, accelerating the process from 5G module to 5G reality.

AMD has partnered with MediaTek to unveil their newest Wi-Fi solution, called the AMD RZ600 Series Wi-Fi 6E modules. It features the MediaTek Filogic 330P chipset inside and is designed to power the next-generation AMD Ryzen-series laptop and desktop PCs starting 2022 onwards.


To meet this explosive IoT market growth, the MediaTek MT2621 and MT2625 NB-IoT modules are already available, with muRata using the latter to make its latest NB-IoT modem module which, at just 12.6 x 10.6 x 1.8mm, claims to be the smallest in the world.


The power consumption matches its incredibly small size, at just 3 μA in power saving mode, making the 1SS module ideal for miniaturized, battery-operated IoT devices such as wearables, tracking devices or other devices use-cases where space is limited. The 64MP camera module is paired up with the 2MP depth sensor. The 8MP ultra wide cam and the macro cam are separate units. An extra detail here is that the glass cover for the quad camera also houses the fingerprint reader.


Longtime Apple supplier Broadcom today announced that it has signed two multi-year deals with Apple that cover a "range of specified high-performance wireless components and modules" that Apple will use in its products.


According to Broadcom, these new agreements are in addition to a prior agreement it established with Apple in June 2019 for RF components and modules. The new agreements will last for three and a half years beginning in January 2020.


The Digilent Pmod GPS (Revision B) can add satellite positioning accuracy to any embedded system. The Pmod GPS features a GlobalTop FGPMMOPA6H GPS antenna module that utilizes the MediaTek GPS MT3329.


The Pmod GPS utilizes the MediaTeK GPS MT3329 on a GlobalTop FGPMMOPA6H GPS antenna module to receiving positional data over UART. By default, the Pmod operates using the National Marine Electronics Association (NMEA) protocols for data output from the GPS module, although the Radio Technical Commission for Maritime services, or RTCM pin Differential Global Positioning System (DGPS) data using RTCM protocols is also available.


The reset pin (NRST) present on J2 allows normal operation of the module while left floating. If users bring the NRST pin or toggle the pin, it will completely reset the module, similar to how a power cycle operation would perform.


The 3DF pin on J1 indicates the status of the user's positional fix. When the module has a constant fix (2D or 3D) this pin stays low; if the module is unable to get a fix then the pin will toggle every second. The on-board LED follows this same behavior pattern to provide a a visual representation.

AnandTech meldde begin dit jaar op basis van informatie die over de modules was verschenen dat het in ieder geval bij de RZ608 om simpelweg een rebrand van MediaTeks MT7921K-chipset ging.


AMD en MediaTek claimen hoe dan ook gecertificeerde PCIe- en USB-interfaces ontwikkeld te hebben waarbij onder andere op energiebeheer is gelet. Verder wijst AMD op compatibiliteitsgaranties en resultaten van stresstesten, wat pc-bouwers tijd zou schelen bij het implementeren van de Wi-Fi-modules. 041b061a72
