Finally, after getting tired of trying and not being able to use the iomega storage remotely, I got a free account with Tonido Cloud, totally free. Works 100% of the time on Mac or windows. Not wanting to have the 2TB just sitting around while I wait for LenovoEMC to update the app to a working unit, I bought a Cat 6a crossover cable and connected my Mac Mini to the iomega drive, and voila! I have my 2TB drive with all my movies up 100% of the time by using Tonido Cloud.
After I tried on my own every solution discussed here, in reality nothing exactly work with the iomega personal cloud and the ilink app.So if anyone just want to use their storage and their content remotely, quit fighting iomega and the half baked personal cloud until it gets updated, and just use Tonido till then. Your frustration level will go down and the precious wasted time will go away.
